Rochdale Riding Club Presentation Dance (7/10/08)
We are selling tickets (sponsored by Equine Mania) for the Rochdale and District Riding Club Presentation Dance to be held at Heywood Civic Hall on Saturday 8th November. This year Equine Mania will also be providing the entertainment! Tickets are £11 adults and £7 children including potato pie supper.

Discount Childrens Clothing at Fun Day (18/8/08)
Equinemania will be having a stand selling discount childrens t-shirts, fleeces and jackets at the Saddleworth & District Pony Club
Fun Day on Sunday 5th October (note the rescheduled date). The fun day features various jumping and novelty classes, side saddle demo, mounted games demo, BBQ, bouncy castle and lots more. Further details are on the pony club website.

Right Weight Roadshow(8/6/08)
Equinemania is pleased to be hosting a World Horse Welfare (ILPH) Right Weight Roadshow at Norden, Rochdale on Sunday 17th August 2008. The ILPH has noticed a dramatic increase in the number of overweight horses around the UK, so have set up a tour to provide advice on how to weigh your horse, body condition score your horse and what the idea weight should be. Anyone attending with their horse can also have it weighed on a weighbridge. Places must be booked in advance via World Horse Welfare by calling 01953 497217. Feed Open Evening May 7th (3/5/08)
A rep from Dodson and Horrell will be in the shop on Wednesday May 7th from 5pm to 7pm to offer feed advice. Please drop in for a drink and a chat. Feeds samples and some freebies will be available on the evening.

New Farm Shop Open (3/3/08)
We are pleased to announce that we have opened a farm shop in Norden selling essential horse foods, poultry feeds, shavings and fresh free range eggs. This will be more convenient for our customers in the Norden and Bamford area. We can also bring across any other feeds, tack or other equipment across from the wide range available in our store in Oldham. Simply phone the shop on 0161 624 8200 and we will normally have them ready for collection within 1 hour of the Oldham shop closing. The farm shop is open 7 days morning to evening. You can find it at Top O'The Meadow Farm, Meadow Head Lane, Norden, OL11 5UL (just off Edenfield Rd a few hundred yards up from Nutters). Call the main shop for further information.

Equilac Foal Milk in Stock (15/1/08)
One of our regular customer's horses had a foal at new year. Sadly the mother rejected the foal almost immediately, requiring the foal to be hand reared. It took us a bit of hunting round to find some foal milk for her ("At this time of year?!"), so from now on we will always have foal milk in stock all year round for such emergencies.

New In: Blaze Clothing (3/1/08)
We now have t-shirts, fleeces, hats and scarfs in from Blaze clothing (pictured right). You can view the range and read more about the Blaze young rider academy on the Blaze web site.

Saddleworth & District Pony Club Membership Night
Equinemania will be attending the Membership Night and Fashion Show in Uppermill on Tuesday 8th January. We will have some of our show jackets, ties and shirts for sale on the night.
