Rug Cleaning Service (6/7/10)
We now offer a horse and dog rug cleaning and repair service. Just drop off your dirty rugs to the shop in a sealed bag. Rugs are collected every Tuesday and will be ready for collection the following week. Please phone or call in the shop for prices. Other services include wax jacket reproofing.

Pick up a baragin in our end of season sale including up to 50% off medium and heavyweight turnout/stable rugs and stable fleeces. Also reduced are a number of lines in our adult and childrens leisurewear range.

Extended Feed and Pet Bedding Range (11/12/09)
We have extended our range of horse feeds for the winter. We now hold in stock Ready Mash Extra, Fibre Beet and Speedibeet. New in is a range of pet bedding, including small bags of hay, straw and shavings for small pets.

Arkwright's Dog Food Now Stocked (9/10/09)
We now stock Gilbertson & Page range of dog feeds. These include Dr John's Gold Medal, Dr John's Silver Medal and Arkright's Complete. These are fantastic value feeds, with the Arkright's Complete just £7.99 for a 15Kg bag.

New Horsewear Autumn Clothing Range (30/9/09)
The new range of outdoorwear from Horsewear has arrived. We particularly like the Newmarket range of fleeces, rugby shirts and gilets (see photo, right).

Puffa Breast Cancer Clothing Range (27/8/09)
New in stock is the fantastic exclusive range of Breast Cancer Campaign leisure clothing from Puffa (pictured above). The polo shirts feature the distinctive Puffa styling and a winged horse / ribbon embroidery. The range includes coordinated accessories such as hats, scarves, socks and gloves.

To celebrate the reopening of the road, we are having a sale. There are reductions across our summer horse rugs and fleeces range. Wondering what happened to our BBQ summer? Well, you may need a fleece now yourself so these are reduced too.

Our Road Has Reopened! (30/7/09)
Finally, after 9 weeks, the road outside the shop has reopened! Thanks to all the customers who have negotiated their way round the roadworks to get to the shop over the last couple of months.

Shaw Road Closure (26/5/09)
Major roadworks are underway on Shaw Road. During the works Shaw Road will be turned into a one-way street at the junction with Turf Lane. That means that customers wishing to access the shop from the Broadway end of Shaw Road will have to follow a diversion. There is a map with some suggested diversion routes to the shop.

Equinemania Sponsors Rochdale Show (22/3/09)
Once again, we will be sponsoring the April show at Rochdale & District Riding Club. Further information and schedule is on the RDRC web site.

Top Spec Feed Advice (10/3/09)
A representative from Top Spec will be in the shop all day on Saturday 21st March to offer nutrition and management advice to help customers improve the welfare, performance and condition of their horses and ponies. Popular topics include laminitis and how/when to feed balancers, feeding for showing and feeding elderly horses. There will be some freebies, samples and vouchers available. Drop in anytime from 10am onwards for a chat.

Equine Mania Joins BETA(15/2/09)
We are now a retail member of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA). The organisation was set up in 1979 in order to serve the best interests of the equestrian industry, the individual rider and its members. For more information, visit the BETA web site.

VAT Special Sale (15/12/08)
We've knocked at least 15% of all clothing (excluding footwear, children's jods, gloves and headgear). We have a wide range of jackets, t-shirts, gilets, fleeces in mens, womens and childrens sizes. This offer will run throughout January and into February.

We've got some great Christmas gifts in the store for your friends, family, horse, cat or dog! A popular gift for 2008 is the skull cap hat and glove sets by Carrots (pictured right). These come in both kids and adult ranges.

Rochdale Riding Club Presentation Dance (7/10/08)
We are selling tickets (sponsored by Equine Mania) for the Rochdale and District Riding Club Presentation Dance to be held at Heywood Civic Hall on Saturday 8th November. This year Equine Mania will also be providing the entertainment! Tickets are £11 adults and £7 children including potato pie supper.

Discount Childrens Clothing at Fun Day (18/8/08)
Equinemania will be having a stand selling discount childrens t-shirts, fleeces and jackets at the Saddleworth & District Pony Club
Fun Day on Sunday 5th October (note the rescheduled date). The fun day features various jumping and novelty classes, side saddle demo, mounted games demo, BBQ, bouncy castle and lots more. Further details are on the pony club website.

Right Weight Roadshow(8/6/08)
Equinemania is pleased to be hosting a World Horse Welfare (ILPH) Right Weight Roadshow at Norden, Rochdale on Sunday 17th August 2008. The ILPH has noticed a dramatic increase in the number of overweight horses around the UK, so have set up a tour to provide advice on how to weigh your horse, body condition score your horse and what the idea weight should be. Anyone attending with their horse can also have it weighed on a weighbridge. Places must be booked in advance via World Horse Welfare by calling 01953 497217. Feed Open Evening May 7th (3/5/08)
A rep from Dodson and Horrell will be in the shop on Wednesday May 7th from 5pm to 7pm to offer feed advice. Please drop in for a drink and a chat. Feeds samples and some freebies will be available on the evening.

New Farm Shop Open (3/3/08)
We are pleased to announce that we have opened a farm shop in Norden selling essential horse foods, poultry feeds, shavings and fresh free range eggs. This will be more convenient for our customers in the Norden and Bamford area. We can also bring across any other feeds, tack or other equipment across from the wide range available in our store in Oldham. Simply phone the shop on 0161 624 8200 and we will normally have them ready for collection within 1 hour of the Oldham shop closing. The farm shop is open 7 days morning to evening. You can find it at Top O'The Meadow Farm, Meadow Head Lane, Norden, OL11 5UL (just off Edenfield Rd a few hundred yards up from Nutters). Call the main shop for further information.
